The Oxidation Collection:
 
It is Egypt 200 years ago and the women move around the kitchen getting ready to prepare food for their family. It will be a feast tonight, they are celebrating. One old lady reaches for her pots, the ones she has used all her life, the copper pots, that have fed her family for years....
Later, today those pots will be found and they will have changed, the copper now tarnished to green. Still beautiful if not more beautiful than they were 200 years ago. If only they could tell us the stories of long long ago.
 
Copper Pots
Starts with a light copper colour moving to a slightly darker copper colour to the greeny blue of tarnished copper with speckles of green
 
In the photo above the colour way has been dyed on, from left to right 50% Merino and 50% Silk 400m 4ply 100g, the 100% Peruvian wool 210m 4ply 50g.
 
This is currently on dyed to order and can be with you within 2 weeks.
