The Theme for the first ever Fibre Block Party is...
                               'Block Party'
 
A Block Party is the name for a street party in the US. So when I sat down to think about the theme and what this meant to me, I was kept coming back to sunshine, summer days, heat, fun and good music. And as a teenager in the '80's and I saw the brilliant yellow with the bright pink I was transported back to fun times as a teen, and my block party theme yarn was born!
 
HOWEVER... When I played around with the colours I loved how the yellow and pink meet in the middle of the skein and  I knew I needed to bring you two colourways; 'Extrovert' and 'Introvert'. 
 
We all recharge our batteries in different ways, Introverts need to recharge in their own space and can enter the world again, Extroverts need the engery from others to recharge, however it doesn't mean either group enjoy a party any less, it just means we enjoy different types of partys. 
 
Extrover is a blend of Bright pink and Brilliant yellow, where they meet in the middle of the skein you get a blend of these colours and some lighter pinks and yellows as well as oranges, and peach. 
 
The skein is the same colours as the Intorvert however the colours have been added to the yarn after the yarn is in the dye pot where it takes the dye straight where it hits the fibre. 
 
In the photo above Extrovert on the left has been dyed on the DK 100% Organic Merino 100g and on the right on the 55% BFL and 45% silk 100g 4ply skein.
 
This is currently on dyed to order and can be with you within 2 weeks.
