The Theme for the first ever Fibre Block Party is...
                               'Block Party'
 
A Block Party is the name for a street party in the US. So when I sat down to think about the theme and what this meant to me, I was kept coming back to sunshine, summer days, heat, fun and good music. And as a teenager in the '80's and I saw the brilliant yellow with the bright pink I was transported back to fun times as a teen, and my block party theme yarn was born!
 
HOWEVER... When I played around with the colours I loved how the yellow and pink meet in the middle of the skein and  I knew I needed to bring you two colourways; 'Extrovert' and 'Introvert'. 
 
We all recharge our batteries in different ways, Introverts need to recharge in their own space and can enter the world again, Extroverts need the engery from others to recharge, however it doesn't mean either group enjoy a party any less, it just means we enjoy different types of partys. 
 
Introvert is a blend of pink, yellow, orange, and peach. 
The skein has the same colours as the Extrovert however the colours have been added to the dye bath prior to the yarn and the colours hit the fibres in different places.
 
In the photo above Introvert from left to right has been dyed on The big Fluffy, 38% baby alpaca, 25% Merino and 37% Pimo Cotton, 4ply 400m.
In the middle  you have 50% Merino and 50% silk 4ply 400m.
And on the right is 75% SW BFL and 25% Nylon 4ply 425m
 
This is currently on dyed to order and can be with you within 2 weeks.
