Hand Spun yarn:
Handspun yarn is not as uniform as mill produced yarn, it’s quirky and unique and that is what makes it so special.
There will be parts that are thinner or thicker however this always seems to balance out in the knitting/crocheting/weaving etc of your project. Especially after blocking your finished object.
With Handspun yarn, the fibre is often dyed prior to spinning and the colours blend together as they are spun.
If you haven’t spun yarn and you want to try knitting with some handspun; you have come to the right place…
Summer Haze: This is a blue/green yarn with yellows, pinks, greens and even a little peach!
This is a blend of 40% Devon Closewool, 40% Romney and 20% Exmoor Blueface
This is a 101g skein with 312 meters, which is about a fine sport weight yarn.
Always complete a tension square prior to starting your projects.
